Description

The need to simulate different vision deficiencies is important when testing changes in the user interface and colors. This tutorial will instruct on how to turn on the built in color blindness feature in Chromium based browsers.

Steps

  1. Open Chrome or a Chromium based browser
  2. Open Tukko
  3. Right click on an the map.
  4. Select inspect from the dropdown menu.

  1. Click hamburger menu next to "console" on the lower Right. (Can be skipped if rendering is already visible)

  1. Select rendering.

  1. scroll all the way to the bottom.

  1. You should now see "Emulate vision deficiencies dropdown list"
  2. Choose the vision deficiency needed from the dropdown menu.

Steps to ged rid of the emulation

  1. Choose "no emulation" from the Emulate vision deficiencies dropdown list or close the inspect tool
